IMPORTANT UPDATE

On 14 November 2024, a special meeting of members of Groomed to Go Incorporated (G2G) was held and the members unanimously passed a special resolution approving the change of the name of Groomed to Go Incorporated to Dress for Success Victoria Incorporated and to update the Constitution to reflect the new name. The name change will only formally take effect after we notify the Registrar of Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) and CAV updates its public records. Similarly, the Constitution amendments will only take effect once we lodge the amended Constitution with CAV and the Registrar gives its approval.

Our mission to empower women toward economic independence remains unchanged. This shift allows us to fully align with the Dress for Success worldwide model which focuses exclusively on providing services to women. This name change and alignment with Dress for Success worldwide will help us to continue to provide our services to women across Victoria, furthering our impact and expanding our reach.

Accordingly, since 30 November 2024, we are no longer offering styling services for men. However we are planning to work to find partnerships and put in place referral arrangements if men come to us or are referred to us for services.

The following steps are being undertaken:

• We have started working on a rebranding process to use the new name and a new Dress for Success Victoria logo, preparing a new website, updating our email addresses (and organising for redirections to occur) and updating document templates along with anything else required for the purposes of the name change.

• We are planning to close for our annual holiday break on 19 December 2024 and re-open one new website as Dress for Success Victoria on 13 January 2025 or as close as possible to that date.

• Our aim will be to no longer be using the name and logo Groomed to Go Inc from the time that CAV changes its name in its public records. We are not sure when that will be at this stage but it is likely to be some time after 12 December 2024.

• Once the name changes, all references to Groomed to Go Inc on this website and on our Dress for Success Victoria website should be read as references to Dress for Success Victoria Inc.

•  We are also planning to no longer use the business name Dress for Success South East Melbourne as we have registered the business name Dress for Success Victoria. Accordingly the plan is to have one brand and one website in the future.

•  We are also changing the name and logo for our opportunity shop. To this end we have registered a new business name 'Wear it Forward' and will be operating the shop under that name with a new logo when it re-opens on 13 January 2025.

We hope to receive your continued support as we transition to Dress for Success Victoria and look forward to your continued support in the future as we continue to transform the lives of women we assist under our new name.
